Who are we?

Hi! We are Emily and Eric, two nature enthusiasts living in Northern California who wanted to share some of our favorite adventures with the ever-growing body of hiking and backpacking lovers world wide.

One of our favorite places to explore is Point Reyes north of San Francisco. We were in the middle of a backpacking trip, resting at the top of Firtop peak, when the idea for this blog was formed.

We understand it can be overwhelming to plan a trip to the backcountry. Our goal is to provide easy to follow instructions, tips and advice to inspire others from our own experiences. Our blog currently contains primarily California treks, with a sprinkle of other state and international routes.
